With interest rates at their lowest levels in history, the volume of real estate credit granted took a huge leap in 2021, even with the increases in the Selic rate. Some banks have already signaled their intention to increase this rate by up to 1%. Public banks – including Caixa Econômica – have not yet signaled any change.
“This means that there is still an opportunity for those who want to purchase a property using real estate credit with lower rates. In 2021, we will reach a historic record in the volume of real estate credit granted in the country”, comments Claudio Hermolin, CEO of Primaz.
