Claudio Hermolin on Gente do Rio

On July 25, Claudio Hermolin, CEO of Primaz, participated in Gente do Rio, on TV Band Rio. In the program hosted by Mônica Ramos, Hermolin spoke about the real estate market, construction and the situation of the sector during the pandemic. During the chat, which lasted about 1 hour and also included the participation of Celso Rayol, president of ASBEA, Hermolin mentioned one of the reasons why the sector has not been affected much in recent times: the large number of workers employed, who did not stop during the quarantine decrees. As a result, 85% of construction sites continued to operate, complying with all protocols established by SECONCI.

Another point addressed was the change in the real estate market, especially in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Previously, launches and sales in the city were focused on neighborhoods in the west zone, such as Barra da Tijuca and Jacarepaguá, for example. And, in recent years, neighborhoods in the south zone ended up taking preference for developments. Furthermore, there was no shortage of opinions and information about real estate credit and the most popular question in the sector in recent times: should I invest somewhere or buy a property? “It depends on the person’s situation. They need to understand their financial situation, whether they are going to buy the property with their own resources or seek real estate credit. And the most interesting thing is that the real estate market has a menu of options for all situations, budgets and moments in people’s lives”, says Claudio.
