Technology companies increased their areas in São Paulo, which went from 348,294 m² in the fourth quarter of 2019 to 363,575 m² in the first quarter of 2021. And, even with several properties and offices returned during the pandemic, in addition to the adoption of home office, technology companies requested 82,000 m² in corporate offices in the last three years, in São Paulo, in regions such as Berrini, Faria Lima, Chucri Zaidan and Itaim.
“Today, the demands that were once held by traditional, analog companies are now being filled by technology companies, whether they are fintechs, edutechs, proptechs, healthtechs, construtechs and all those that have technology in their surname. Therefore, I think it is unlikely that a commercial and corporate enterprise in a city as important as São Paulo, which has a GDP that is extremely representative of the national GDP, will have a high vacancy rate in the medium or long term,” comments Cláudio Hermolin, CEO of Primaz.
